I have been running rc trucks for 10 + years, and I have to say that is the best explanation I have seen. I am a little hard on hearing, it would be helpful for me if you could print the steps out on a file so I could read it. I have bad hearing from 30 years working with air tools. Thanks I would appreciate it if you could.

THE ULTIMATE SECRET FROM WINNER RACER!! In all the videos I've watched about carburetor adjustments for nitro rc engines not a single one talks about the secret I'm about to reveal to you that makes the difference between first, second and third on the podium. The low speed must be adjusted richer than normal but the motor must still turn well between 1/4 opening and 3/4 because the needle in the center of the slide controls from idle to 3/4. From 3/4 to full trottle you can put the slide needle in your pocket and it wouldn't change the mix. The result is that when the engine is running full throttle and you release the triger quickly the engine wants air and fuel but the slide is closed so a lot of gas (and oil) goes into the engine and cools it down and lubricates it better. Think about this.. How many seconds do you keep full trottle in a race...2 or 3 seconds.. then you can adjust the high speed needle leaner than normal and gain rpm and horsepower and by releasing the trigger very quickly for a fraction of a second like before entering a curve it cools much more and the temperature of the engine will not have time to rise above 250 degrees and you have maximum power.

you say LSN a litte to lean, and then you lean it out again? i dont get it and the last time you pinch the fuel line, the engine do nothing. and you say its perfect. why?

Your right but think he did richen it as turns the screw driver anti clockwise on LSN. The revs did start to rise but then let go I guess to stop it cutting out. If you listen to last revs it still bogging so needs another hour 😂

I’m a noob too. My guess is he’s going for a single stage idle.

When I say perfect I mean for a basic tune 😅😂 this is just a starting point. Not a full on race tune but yes I did make a mastake with my wording your are Definitely right lol

Reason being is first test he did told him his LSN was lean. But when he did the high rev to sudden idle it snapped back immediately so he could lean out the bottom to get even better throttle response. Situation just said he could

STUPIDE ADJUSTEMENT !!!Never adjust high speed when the engine is not pushing (THE WHEELS OFF THE GROUND) because when the engine pushes on the track the mixture will be too lean.
