A good tool to loosen and adjust those rear plates (at 3:50) would be a nut driver-like a screwdriver with little wrench sockets on the end. Check your local Harbor Freight.

For day 22 of 365 days of KZbin I wanted to share with you my favorite instrument: Rhodes Mark 1. This instrument is pure soul and I was transposing a song I wrote on acoustic because I wanted to see how it sounded on the rhodes when I noticed some of the keys were messes up so I took the top off and got to work! I'm looking forward to working on some more original music and covers this week!

Hi :) thanks for the video, helps a lot! I just bought a Rhodes and I have two notes that don't come back up when i press them with the sustain pedal on. But when i stop pressing the pedal, they go back up. Do you have any ideas of what's happening? I searched on the internet but I did't find anything.

I guess it would have been good to show how you actually move the spring to achieve the correct pitch. You briefly mentioned the mechanism but how do you access it and do you use a tool. Do you lift the harp up or do you go in from the top between the tone bars? I just got myself a mk2 and I’m trying to figure out the best method
