Finally someone who knows what they are talking about, corner entry understeer is my biggest problem what's the first thing I should adjust please.perhaps I'm just going to fast.

To fix corner entry understeer. You can Lower the rear pre load differential. Move the brake bias more rearward. (Lower number) You can toe out the front wheels (more negative) You can toe out the rear wheels (more negative. You can raise the rear ride height.

Diff Preload affects off throttle entry less, than exits. Higher diff preload affects inner wheel sleepage and may induce some unpredicted behaviors, like snap oversteer on slow to mid corner exits or high speed exit understeer. And running higher diff will always affect tyrelife, you a literaly dragging faster moving innter wheel around corners

Thanks for your input! I will be going into these things in a lot more depth in future videos. That’s interesting that your finding that preload diff in ACC affects your exits more then entries. I’m finding the opposite. In real life in a real race car yes it drastically affects both. Especially on my 8 plate Mugen Diff I have in my current race car. And yes I will explain more about how it affects tire life. My point about the tire life was just to compare that toe in/out is constant tire wear issue all the way around the track. Where as the diff is only making a large impact through turns. I should have been more clear your right. But the purpose of this video was to make it basic for the very average player. ​@@Bratmouse1 In ACC you can split corners in 2 groups, roughly, 1-3 gear corners and 3-6 gear corners. High diff values can lead to snap oversteer in low gear and uncontrollable understeer in high gear corner exits. And you cannot "feel" it, only somewhat see clues in motec. I'd recommended not to touch diff at all, but to play with front&rear bumpstop ranges and rates and with rear rideheigt only for fast corners. Aero load plays more significant role faster you go in GT3 or any aero loaded car

Aris from Kunos said that its better to use TC1 and TC2 on cars which have TC2. TC1 when to cut power and TC2 by how much.

Since the 1.9 update no one is using TC2 anymore. The really top esports guys for qually are even running 0 TC on some cars to get the most out of it.
