Awesome video and great explaining everything. I've done both my 2018 f450s myself. Never had any issues. I just purchased a 2021 f750 6.7 diesel and am doing amdp tuning and gonna delete egr and ccv. Have u ever done a 650 or f750?

Did you have to do a "transmission relearn procedure"? I ordered my tune from a company that came pretty highly recommended, which used the GDP commander for the tune. After flashing both the ecm and TCM, it says to reset the adaptive learning on the transmission and then go drive the truck at 1/4 throttle through all 10 gears, stop the truck, turn it off and do it again at 1/2 throttle and repeat this procedure at 3/4 and full throttle. Is that normal?? I noticed my truck shifting a bit weird after doing this procedure.

Quick question...say a truck has a Mini Max tune on it and I wanted the EFI live..do I have to return ecm to stock before installing EFI live or will it just install over Mini Max?

Another great video as always. Would love to see a delete video on a 22+ Cummins using the hp tuners software. Yes I no you have one with ez lynk but for guys that are buying the kits now getting a 19-21 ecm that they don’t have to ship off with their oem ecm and have it bench flashed. Hp tuners now has a system where you can install a 19-21 ecm and use their software to do the tuning instead of how you did it on your 22 with ez lynk. Keep em coming

You use the ecm connection for the engine tune and for the trans tun you use the OBD 2 port. That's what I did when I tuned my 2020 through dirty diesel custom which is pretty much the same setup that's being used in this video.

Hey i have a 2013 ram 2500 we talked a few months back i picked up a kit from diesel dudes. I was thinking about getting banks intercooler and piping b3cause i have a credit. Two questions, first do you think the banks intercooler and piping is worth the money and 2nd would i need new tunes or could i get new tunes from diesel dudes for after the install? I don’t think it does much but if you have a credit that intercooler would be a nice upgrade. You won’t need to alter the tune though, it will be fine the way it is.

Do you need a new unlocked ECM to do a 2022

I have an MM3 on my 2019 F250 6.7 and doesn't work well. I was told to install this SOTF from DieselR and not great results. Still trying to get things figured out. I thought I could switch tunes with MM3 but that isn't the case.

You do the Kam reset first and then download the trans tune . That's what I did on my 2020

1/4 throttle let run trough the gears stop stall the engine opend driver door the clossed again then 1/2 3/4 and full throllte same precedure thats the right way to reset a kam same precedore ford mecanics use

Still haven’t found a 2022. The process is very close to the 2021 though, if you watch this video to get familiar with how the commander tuner works then follow the instructions you get with the 2022 kit from the diesel dudes you shouldn’t have any issues
