What happens if you cannot move a peg on an 1/8 size violin? The A string peg is so firmly stuck I cannot move it at all.

In this case it would be better to go to a violin shop to get help.

There is some risk of braking a peg - this is why you want someone with experience to deal with it.

Recently I noticed link for strings below the film. Tungsten for G and C. But silver exists too. What the difference? Which are better?

The choice between tungsten and silver cello strings primarily depends on personal preference and the desired sound quality, as each material imparts different characteristics to the string. Tungsten strings are known for their powerful, deep, and focused sound. They are particularly popular for the lower strings (G and C) as they enhance the cello's rich, resonant qualities. These strings generally offer a quick and precise response, which is beneficial for advanced playing techniques. Silver Cello Strings tend to produce a warmer, mellower tone compared to tungsten. They are appreciated for their rich overtones and expressive sound quality. They often provide a more flexible feel under the fingers, which can be comfortable for some players. Silver strings can be a good choice for cellists seeking a more traditional, warm cello sound, especially for classical repertoire. Experimenting with different strings can be enlightening, as it helps you understand how each type affects your instrument's sound and your playing experience. It might be worth trying both types over time to see which you prefer.

@@Cellopedia Thank you for excellent explanation. I think it is worth better place then deep, in commentaries. The choice is difficult.Bad,🤓 you can't have both at the same time
