How to Turbo Ford Sierra (my way pt.1)

This is a video of me talking and explaining about my car project and how to turbo the Ford Sierra 2 liters Pinto engine in my way, keep in mind that I’m not a professional mechanic and I’m just doing this as a hobby with my friends.
There is many ways to do this and how far you will go in fabrication and parts.
There will be more content of this build soon in better detail.

Im planning on turboing my sierra is 2.0 and i see you replaced the fuel Lines with fuel hose. What mm should i go for? Can i just change from fuel Lines to hose without problem?

DOCH motorn i all ära men är inte lika hållbar för turbo konverteringen som 2.0 8v Pinto. Det har gjorts men blir oftast dyrare och mindre hållbart :)

Here in the UK we Don't use the ARP stud and nut kit on the Cosworth engines as it pulls and cracks the blocks especially on the 205 block and even on the 200 block. I personally use the std victor reinz headbolts which are stretch type. Nice build pinto turbo's are great fun and with a cosworth 2wd bottom end can be tuned for big bhp 👍

you can find them on ebay mate, just look for Pinto EFI Manifold, found one for about 200euro :)

4500 euros are quite a lot, this is not a budget build I presume? I would very much like to do this to my Pinto, but I have no idea what to do with the ECU.

Endroo good question, it was supposed to be a budget build but during the process i kinda got information and suggestions along the way that made me spend more money to hopefully make it durable with stock bottom and head. I had a goal in my head to go about up to around 2500euro but since i choosed a emu ecumaster with PnP solution i thought why not run bigger and better stuff. Hopefully it will hold up this summer aswell :)

Indeed. Do you think Megasquirt will work for me? I'll be using the turbo of a BMW TDS (cause I have it lying around), also TDS intercooler, the oil feed and the other auxiliaries will be scavenged also. I don't need to have over 250 hp at the crank, so I hope it'll be fine.

Malachy Murphy they could go for 200-600euro here, doch isnt as popular as the Pinto tho.
