this is the first video I saw of yours and I subscribed quickly after all of your humor xD but then DAMN that song is incredible!!!! Thank you so much for making this video - I can't tell you how many videos I have gone through, just trying to learn how to choose the parts for a song arrangement. It seems that 99.9% of music production advice is all on mixing and plugins etc etc, but hardly anything on how you choose the instruments and parts. It really spoke to me how you said to start with a really solid few chords of an instrument, something you can play off of, and also to pay attention to what you hear in your imagination, like you did with the drums. I was wondering if you could make a video just like this, except for a song that you start from an acoustic guitar strumming chords? I write most of my songs on guitar with basic strums, and when I try to produce them, my mind goes blank and I have no idea how to go from the basic guitar strum to a really unique song. When I write on piano with more going on in the chords, it's definitely easier, but for the life of me I'm struggling with guitar strummed songs as a baseline. Any advice???
