Thanks for the great video. Just had a request to make some bobbins and had no idea what they are, now I know I may pass on the job thanks again for the “Bobbin series”.

Amazing work. Is there a particular way of grinding the cutting edge on the dental tool?

Incredibly delicate work -- I'm in awe! How fast is the lathe going for spindle turning with these small diameters?

Thanks for the kind comment. My lathe is set up to turn at around 6000rpm which helps a lot for production work. Thanks Chris

you know, I've seen it being used numerous times and I still have no idea how it works XD

It seals the grain so that it doesn't absorb moisture. It also allows a finish to be applied if needed.

A lathe is only the start of it! chucks chisels + many more items and then theres the skill. Just do a search on Google for where to buy a lathe, I guess it all depends on where in the world you are? but you could search on eBay or look at axminster.co.uk Good luck
