Thank you Sir my mom had me flippin thinking our phone was hacked. That’s some BS that a company can take it upon themselves to add and turn on this feature without permission.. same goes for the tracking you have to turn it off or you will be tracked.

This has been such a PITA as I am deaf and use my hands a lot and to have those reactions going off randomly is just annoying to say the least. Apple should have a way to disable this feature from the control panel OS wide by default rather than having to disable it per app. I hate it when companies think they know best as to what we as the customer wants going about enabling features like this by default. Thanks for the video as it helped me get rid of them for now but I hope apple puts in an update to make this something that can be turned off universally by default.

SAME! I'm an interpreter and it is SO unprofessional and I just cant get the settings to work the way all of these videos instruct! When I clock on that menu, I don't have that as an option. So frustrated!

Generally, when you use an app like Zoom, you will see a green icon in the right side of the top line menu bar. If you click on it, you will see the options for turning the camera reactions and other video feature on and off. AFAIK, it's app specific, so there does not appear to be a way to completely turn it off. But it's been a while and I haven't had it crop up, so maybe apps remember your preferences. Give it a try and let us know what works for you.
