thanks very helpful it's using up a lot of unnecessary data, when you browsing yt looking for something to watch and you hover over a video thumbnail a second too long and it starts playing and being registred on your account as watched then similar vids being recommended to you all the time was driving me nuts thanks a million.

They done on PURPOOse ofcc like why not have a cute icon so eyes CATCH it fast and write HOME PLAYBACK instead of this bs and i have revanced which has A TOONEEE of settings and this jus lost meh.. i thought id try it before but then i just tap on them cus the bar annoys me even when i have a vid paused ahhh

I didn’t have any of your options but I went to Settings, and then Account, and then turned off Video Previews. That sorted it for me. Cheers anyway. Those autoplays are SO ANNOYING

Guess what? You're wrong. Neither my mobile devices or my desktop computer have anything under any setting I've found called 'autoplay'. You might want to check currently to see if your video still is relative to today.
