This is specific to the owner of two iPhones. I have the 14/15 Pro Maxes and I have this happen daily. You don’t mentioned how to disconnect once they’ve connected. I followed your instructions and they still stayed stuck together so I force powered both down and walah, no longer paired. I’m going to keep the setting off because it is excellent for sharing large files but it’s a total annoyance if using two iPhones in the same vicinity and/or with both hands. If you get em too close - it’s a complete PITA to disconnect Unless, and usually the case, I’m missing something. Because once connected sometimes you can’t get the massive banner off the top of your display! Anyway thought I’d throw it in there. How to disconnect as all searches just tell you how to take an iPhone off your account. Not disconnect from airdrop Thanks for the advice

I still get pings even if 1) WiFi, mobile network, and Bluetooth is disabled 2} Focus is set to sleep status 3) Messenger niotfictions are disabled and 3) Airplane mode is enabled I just want an alarm clock sometimes !

This is not a bad feature. If you look into it. It's a great way to share content with your family. BOTH people need to approve ANY data from moving across the devices. Don't believe me try it. Battery use is the only reason this might be a concern. You can't sneak contacts, you can't steal photos from someone else's phone. one user has to send content to the other user willingly. So you can stop treating this like it's a fire.
