A faster way is hold a ps button for 2 seconds then you’ll get the quick menu find devices select disconnect all or just one or 2 devices which sounds long but takes like 5-8 seconds

If this doesn’t work get a tooth pick or a bobby pin something that is small enough to fit in the little hole in the back of your controller it worked for me
