Amazing that you pay for the service and they make it so difficult to avoid the voicemail usage that few want anymore. These companies are so behind the times. I hate when people I know leave me messages on VM that a quick text could avoid. I needed to take control and stop that bs. Thanks for the video! Seems like only scammers leave voicemails now.

I found voice mail on my phone and there is no way to disable it this way. Calling the provider is a pain as you speak to someone in another country who basically follows written words to speak with little knowledge of the phone or what you are saying. I have a Samsung J7 Crown on Trac Fone any thoughts on how to disable voice mail.?????? I still want to receive texts.

hey mate, if you've swapped device or plan carrier you may need to re disable Voicemail again.

i have Lifeline a free gov service for the poor in USA. My carrier is Qlink Wireless. I have a Moto g 5g 2024 phone. I have tried everything in this video including calling my carrier. Nothing works! My carrier told me it is not possible to turn of voicemail.They claim to have reset my VM to non set up status, which would inactivate the VM unless i set it up but this did not work either! I wish I had never activated it in the first place. I see no call forwarding option on my phone i tried the mmi or what ever it was # number and it said it was accepted but when i had some one call me it still went to voicemail! Can the Government demand a person on free service keep voicemail??? Why can I not turn the dam thing off??? please respond, do i have to restart my phone for these solutions to work? Is there a time delay between the shut off action and the actual shut off?

Samsung S21 Ultra. Go to settings/Notifications/Scroll down to Advanced Settings/Scroll down to Notification reminders/ Set Notification reminder to the OFF position/ Reboot and all should be well.

Hey mate, Follow the instructions from 0:50 but instead of calling ##004# you can call *004# this will try to reestablish your conditional call forwarding settings. If this doesn't work for you I recommend you get in touch with you cell carrier directly.
