Even after 3 years this video is still helpful! I heard the clicking noise from my oven but when I turned to hi, it wasn’t lighting at first. Turned out I was just turning a little too fast. I was afraid I might end up setting my house on fire! Thank you!

Thank you! I prefer electric stoves and don't like gas stoves. We moved into a new house that unfortunately for me has a gas stove 😟 and I wouldn't go near it. I was scared it would blow up the moment I tried to turn it on. After watching your video I now understand how the stove works. And while I still prefer electric stoves over gas you have helped me to learn that these type of stoves are not something to be scared of.

Thanks for the tutorial! I'm just here because I was curious to see how it worked. My mom's friend owns a gas stove that I always seen her light matches with every burner ans I couldn't understand why and the smell of the gas didn't sit well with me from time to time. I have a electric range which I would never give up but maybe one day I might purchase a house that has one.

Good question. I have never used a propane tank, but I found another creator's video about that. It seems similar, but there are a few differences. I hope this helps! kzbin.info/www/bejne/rpPQi5R8d853lZIsi=nOnvZeZjcTshoOKy

What if you can still smell the gas a little?
@HowToLifeDrLJ2 жыл бұрын
You should not smell the gas when you are cooking on the stove top when it is ignited by the flame. If you smell any gas when it is off, please call the gas company of appliance tech asap. Also, make sure to ventilate the area properly.

Whenever I turn on the stove it always have to be so big I almost got burnt from it
@HowToLifeDrLJ Жыл бұрын
Try to get it lit before a lot of gas has been released. Sometimes, if you let the gas escape (the clicking sound will indicate that) for too long, there is a build up and when it lights, it can be quite "big". Get the gas ignited as soon as you can.
