Well it does depend on the scenario luckily on the bottom of the screen it tells you when it should be enabled and disabled for my case enabled worked fine

This is exactly the kind of shit that makes people anxious to uprgade to a new major OS release. Every time there's a new windows release, you need to jump through hoops to upgrade. You would think that Microsoft would learn after all these years, but nope...

Yeah I agree, but to be honest the previous upgrades haven't really been like this. Microsoft claims they're trying to make Windows more secure this time, and for OEM computers you don't have to do any of this.

Right it’s just the typical MS colluding with oem to make it impossible to do anything except buy their product. fTpm has never worked and never will. It mostly just causes problems esp asus boards.

On my motherboard, it gives me a warning when I turn on the firmware saying that if I lose the Asus Reccovery key, I won't be able to boot the system. What Asus recovery key? I thought recovery keys were just for Bitlocker.

I don't know too much about this but I know that if you have BitLocker encryption turned on it can cause issues with that. According to what I read, you have to clear the BitLocker TPM first. superuser.com/questions/1149802/will-clearing-the-tpm-make-bitlocker-encrypted-data-unavailable

When I make the changes, I automatically go into the bios every time I start my PC.

Check your boot order, if the BIOS can't find the boot drive it will automatically go to the BIOS
