How to turn on Voice Chat in VR - ROBLOX 2023

Hi! I have a problem i play roblox from the headset and i dont have the input and output part what can i do???

I'm not sure, try these - Rejoin the game - Disable and re-enable voice chat in settings and rejoin - Disconnect and re-connect headset If these didn't work then I don't know

my roblox has voice chat enabled on pc and phone but when i go over to vr on my oculus quest 2 the microphone icon doesn't appear on the bar or in the menu how do i fix

Might be a bug. Disabling and enable it, then rejoin. If that doesn't work then I don't know

that’s happening to me too. I can use voice chat on other devices but not vr. hopefully that gets fixed!

Hm, I've had that too sometimes. I don't know what causes it, but it works for me if I change the input device into something else and then back to the vr headset, or rejoin the game. Try that :)

Don't worry, if you play VR through your pc (headset connected to pc) then you can disable VR and join the game normally and change the input and output with your mouse, and then join in VR again, that should fix it (hopefully)

Try open the settings in VR and try scroll with the right or left joystick on your controllers, if that doesn't work then move your cursor on the scroll line to the right on the menu and drag it down while holding the trigger on your right controller (I haven't tried roblox on my quest 2 yet, only on pc VR so Idk if it's different)

is there a way to find or show the bar after it disappears, sometimes in games I cant see the bar and i dont know how to make it appear again

I think it appears if you press the menu button on your left controller, not sure though. Some games may have disabled it maybe

Okay but my problem is that every time I go into Roblox on my vr/oculus it tends to say on the very top of the screen if I where to try and play Mic up or any game that allows mic it will say “you may not access ur voice chat, go to you OS settings to allow this” and then idk what to do I’ve tried turning off and on my Roblox i tried deleting it and getting it back ive went to settings and looked up everything even age but nothing, it continues to say that same thing.I’ve tried everything and now I have no clue on what to do. If you may know or anyone can you please help 🙏🏽

Sounds like your input and output device aren't set to your headset, make sure to check that

So, since VR standalone roblox (roblox vr App) doesnt allow vc, is there a way to get around it before it does release

The only way I know about is connecting the quest to a computer with link cable and play via that

I play on the roblox app on quest 2 and I dont even have the option for vc :(
