Yea I've been trying to find someone to do this for a bit. It's a lot harder than it seems to hear a melody and just replay it. Very few people are good enough to actually do it consistently.

Developing your ear is one of the most important skills for a musician to have

Ear training helps. Learn to recognize intervals then just adjust the key by shifting the first note. Also, until you get to that point, you can convert the note in a midi program and then have the midi print them as sheet music. It’s a process but over time you’ll start to hear licks and be able to at least guess the note distances

@@ericbarrierIII i do too, I have fl demo though and wave candy is stock plug in that comes w fl, use that! It shows you the notes the samples plays and then you can copy them onto piano roll, time consuming but you get the exact notes of the sample, better than ableton audio to midi in my opinion

Well you can just bring the sample into your playlist and pitch up and stretch/fit to tempo. Then you can resample and throw it into Slicex which will allow you to play sliced samples as if they were notes. Look up a slicex vocal chop tutorial to get an idea.
