i hate losing control wards. I typically place them somewhere that only the enemy jg would see them so it's at least worth something, or i'll just put it on our jg buffs so that if i start losing, the enemy has a harder time snowballing that lead into ambushing my jg at buff

Black Cleaver or Shojin is your core AD item. Shojin is good because tanks this season don't exist as much and damage amp is very good on illaoi because of E interaction, so Black Cleaver isn't as big of a prio. Depends on if you want more movement speed or cooldowns. Steraks IMO is one of the most important items for teamfights 20+ minutes into the game (i like it a lot). Iceborn Gaunlet against AD, Kaenic Rookern against AP. Devalue Spirit Visage this season unless you think you can really live out any burst from enemy like a teemo (you most likely won't make good use of this item this season and kaenic rookern is just better) Potential other items are Frozen Heart first item against attack speed toplaners like Tryndamere and Irelia. If you go tear first or within the first 8 min in the game, its worth to finish for Fimblewinter, but same idea as Spirit, if enemy burst is too much, better to build Steraks IMO. Tank items are good on illaoi so you can survive longer during bursts. Build tank items first against ranged toplaners. So iceborn gaunlet or frozen heart against vayne, Kaenic rookern against Kayle. Jak'sho is another option if enemy team's damage is evenly split ad/ap during late game. 2 AD items is usually enough in your full build but if you feel frisky you can have 3. If you have 1 more item slot near endgame, Sundered Sky can work. I'm probably wrong on some of these points but as an overall feeling these seem like useful tips that I use in my games.

Pink wards are super good for deep vision though! Since it provides high value information in less contested areas. I highly suggest using the regular trinket for middle bush (unless vision denying) and using the pink ward for deeper vision. (Preferably far away enough for enemy laner to not spot right away.) Since if it manages to spot the jungler it’ll going to pay for it’s gold by the info it presents!

You really think a perma-Challenger player isn't acutely aware of all of that?
@ldalexandrite10 ай бұрын
@@shenpai1566 why the hostility, though? Top lane players do not necessarily have to learn about certain vision tricks since their lane do not incentivize learning about them by design. It’s live giving a challenger adc player a tip about specific jungle clearing information, since it’s not necessarily what they have to learn while maintaining their rank. Imagine barking at someone like this who just tried to be helpful lmao

@@ldalexandrite Not a great comparison. It's more like giving a challenger adc a tip about "warding" too... because, you know, warding isn't exactly role specific knowledge.
@ldalexandrite10 ай бұрын
@@R3NEGADE43 of course it isn’t. And my comparison was _not_ intended to be a literal one on one. But is not hard to imagine even a challenger player not paying full attention to a specific thing at a given time especially if *it’s something not high on their **_role’s_** priority list.* Even a retired pro player like Alois explains how pink wards are super low priority for top laners and sometimes the top laner is better off saving that 75g, in one of his videos. Which actually comes from a point of KNOWLEDGE and fundementals. Warding and visions tricks are not role specific things. But to deny that their priority does not change from lane to lane is a bit insane. Hence was my adc to jungle rotation example. A challenger adc _IS_ able to track the enemy jungler, and _must be_ no matter what; even if he does not specifically care about some clear rotations. But paying attention to those unorthodox rotations makes the adc’s job ten times easier. That was the whole idea behind this.
