You're a life saver! I was having similar problem as you described and couldn't figure out how to increase volume. Your video made it quick and easy. For my phone the personal ringer was set ON. This was bypassing the ringer tone set on the handset. Go to ring tones down arrow to Personal ringer : turn it off. Handset now rings. I tried everything I could imagine. Spent an hour or so trying to figure this out. Thanks for the video it did help with the process of elimination.

I have one of these near my desk where I work from home, and I will be presenting in a teleconference on my computer when the phone will ring (someone calling for the kids or a telemarketer) and I won't have any way to shut it off. I can answer and hang up real fast, but then they call right back. Now I have the ringer turned off at my desk, and it can ring in the rest of the house all it wants.
