Can you lower the water pressure by using the handle on this system if you want to reduce the flow from the diverter spout🤔?

That washer inside the nozzle is for higher pressure as well. If you take that out that will not increase the pressure.

It's an anti scold device and has nothing to do with pressure

I have the same setup. I need to find a new cartridge. Is that a Gerber cartridge? Any idea of the part/model number? Much appreciated.

@waqaasshahnawaz8058 Yes, it is a Pfister 9712500 and pfister 974291. If you're the first owner, it is a free replacement for life.

the removal of the oring did nothing for my pressure. So would you say that there is no control on the valve itself, like the hot/cold, for the adjustment of water pressure?

u might have a flow restricter inside your shower head looks like a plastic ring down inside where it threads onto the shower

Go to the hardware store buy both sets kinds it will cost you $20 for metric and what ever the other one is called you will have every size

Ughhh yes my apartment pays for water and my shower pressure is awful. I have my own water heater and they locked it!! So I can't do this I guess

Absolutely nothing as long as you don’t turn the water on the plastic thing is only a guide and a stopper

What if the handle is stuck and won't come off after removing the hex nut ?

I would try shaking it back-and-forth back-and-forth until it loosens up but it must come straight out if worse comes to worse you can cut it with an angle grinder to get the handle off but do not cut the cartridge take your time and go slow I hope this helps
