Sixty years ago my Gramma made me a deal ... she would make flares and bell bottoms out of my outdated trousers if I did house work while she sewed. I was stylin'... and her house was sparklin' clean. Forgot about that until I met you. Thank You !! ❤

You use the ball to run under your stitches so you don’t cut the material

65 years old. Did this in my teenage years. For bell bottoms just rip the seams to the knees. Of course we didn’t use denim for the inserts we used contrasting colors or patterned material for the triangles.

If you can't find an exact match, perhaps make it a design feature, and add two triangles that are very contrasting, or even patterned denim.

I just decided that I wanna create a comfortable wardrobe and so, last night, I went through all the stuff that I own and put away the clothes that didn't fit nicely anymore. I'm a jeans person and there were all these jeans that would have been nice to wear if only they were a little loose. Great video girl, makes me look forward to creating little projects out of those jeans and having fun again

Great idea to use the fabric from a wraparound skirt! Love the table too. And while I knew about using a seam ripper properly, it was great to see you demo it - so many people learned something new.

Of course I like how you style them. This did not look too difficult and the end result was really nice. For those of use that hard to find jeans that actually fit around the wa.ist and no hips, this is a really cool way of making them into exactly the type of denim we want. That sewing table is just awesome and I can see how it works well as a desk also because of the outlet are on the table. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come

Love those jeans. I totally want to make these, but first I need to set up my new space. No more projects until I get that done. What size table did you buy? I want it for my new workspace! I do think it will make a great cutting table if it will be stable enough on plush carpeting. What do think? Will it work as well on plush carpet? Any concerns?

The base is very sturdy and stable. I think it will be fine because of the weight, it will sink in and not move.

Great video… Love your idea! The jeans look terrific. Sewing & designing over 50 yrs. Glad that you are showing how important it is to put time & money into your work space. The power strips are so important. My husband helped me there. I also have a large sewing ctr ( L-shaped) that he bought me 35+ yrs ago. I’m able to keep 3 machines up at all times. I can remember bk then thinking $800. was a lot of money but it was a great investment. I recently checked with the company. They still have it except for it about $1,400. Yikes, right!! But setting up your sewing area/ craft area, whichever, is really important. With my cabinets & ctr I can stay organized. Your supplies & tools, wether you sew for fun or professional need to be convenient. Think about it… if you can’t find it… you won’t use it! ❤ I use a folding table when I need extra space because of the size of my rm. But it sounds like the company recommended has a lot to offer. ❤
