hey when i twist my boyfriends hair the locking gel doesnt work well, when i use wax it works perfectly. is there a reason for this?
@ChrineshiaxAmaria4 жыл бұрын
Anon ymous it’s mostly because of his hair texture . When I two-strand my boyfriends hair his doesn’t stay too well with regular setting cream or gel, because he has too much of soft hair, so I use a mixture of hard hair gel & wax & it sets perfectly ! You just have to learn his texture so you can find a product with some good hold that is also good for the hair .
@CoolieAyy4 жыл бұрын
@@ChrineshiaxAmaria thank you so much, does this create build up?
@ChrineshiaxAmaria4 жыл бұрын
Anon ymous You’re welcome love ! Build up only occurs when you apply too much product to the hair . As long as you comb out the new growth when re-twisting & keep hair washed you should be fine ! I wash my bfs hair every two weeks & there’s never been a problem with build up.

Thank you for doing a video like this! I’m really tempted to put my hair in dreads, because I put my hair in twists anyways, so why not have a style that’ll last me longer and protect my hair? Im a bit scared for take down though. Some people say your can salvage the hair with patience etc, but others will just shave them off which I do not want to do! I’m still contemplating, but the risk might be worth it, because I’ve seen so many beautiful results with length retention.
