So I'm taking the exact path you are saying when you go down into the valley and I am not seeing the path to the water. It only leads me to the poison water and the small shack. I'm so lost and I'm losing my mind

To get to the red part, search up the dragon pit dungeon and do that. Once you get out, go to the right of the dragon after the dungeon
