thank you so much. i deleted and reinstalled it. but i was getting the same error at starting server step while configuration. and when I installed visual studio redistributor and wanted to click reconfiguration it asked password which I set for MySQL. I was entering the correct password several times but it was showing that password is incorrect. I’m soooo tired of that. I tried so many thing but still can’t normally install it. I even reinstalled and changed the password, but it still was saying incorrect password

@@anuskamishra5614 try win + r type "regedit" and press enter navigate to hkey_local_machine\software\mysql ab delete mysql ab folder it worked or me try and tell me if it solved for u

mam i tried to delete as you said but i couldn't able to delete shell file alone. it says "there is a problem with this windows installer package. A DLL required for this install to complete could not be run." please help me mam i very urgent
