How To: unlock 4th and 5th gear in a Japanese mini truck

We started to do some research on this transmission and what is has for gears and we came to find out that it has a five speed. So, we had to dig into it and sure enough it does. We had to find a way to unlock these gears so we looked all over to find some real detailed information. We found a few blurry pictures that was enough to make it happen. Start by removing the front a rear of the transmission. Then mark 3/8-1/2 on the two shafts shows then cut them to that length. Reinstall the front a rear of the transmission and that is basically it. Stay tuned for more updates on this project and others.
