I'm still grinding towards unlocking Wandy but I unlocked the other 4 within an hour of trying. Overeem was unlocked by the time I checked. Shogan came after some more ranked fights. I unlocked Hendo and Diaz with the IN-GAME CURRENCY. I had 28000 saved up, because I wasn't that interested in O'Malley from DWCS. That's also when I got a sense of UFC5's economy and didn't bother with unlocking backgrounds, flair, etc.

If they refined the stand up system they have, and added in more tools to it, along with the now vast array of characters that are coming in, you could have this as the starting build of a K1 Game, or a Kickboxing Game.

I have a question, why in quick match you only can choose 3 or 5 rounds instead letting it random like the others ufc game's? I really liked the random thing.

They should remove the "main event" mode in online. Its the same rules at the "championship" mode only difference is you fight for a belt that doesn't even matter. They should remove it and replace with a pride mode where its the 10 minute rounds in that square ring.

Hmm, maybe ill pick up the game to use a real good wanderlei. Havent had one since Undiputed 3 "To unlock wanderlei, you have to grind to level 77 using only spinning back kidks followed by a taunt. Once this is done, you have to go into stand and bang mode and win by sumbission. Finally, reach number 1 in the world and silva bedome available for $50 USD" ....aight I'll just boot up the 360

I think that the way they have it is not bad ... ufc 4 I felt like I was leveling up for basically nothing there was no point to lvl up in 4. At least with ufc 5 Alter ego's i feel like I'm leveling up towards something, its more of an incentive to play the game more, cause I'm leveling up to earn a new reward the points im earning while leveling up means something now!

Martial I'm surprised there isn't more critcisim from you. This is an absolute disgrace and a slap in the face for UFC fans. You'll have to grind HUNDREDS of hours if you want even just a few of the Alter Egos. Either that or you have to purchase credits for a price equivalent to just buying the whole fucking game again. This is utterly ridiculous. You're usually someone who has very rational and fair takes, so this is very disappointing.

Literally no one cares about trash alter egos, just make the game modes and gameplay mechanics better and fix all the bugs. And make it like an actual UFC event instead of this washed down version. Im good tho, still playing that UFC 4 slop, returned my UFC 5 copy cause the game sucks, January cant come quick enough when Tekken the goat of fighting games comes out
