Some other things are: you can get one cooking recipee everday from your cheff at your restaurant and you can also unlock aditional pillars and counters by leaving Niko materials at his work station, last one is gold pillar and counters

one unlock you miss was after talking to Nat you unlock the ability to use bugs you caught to decorate the outside of homes. Niko will give you a tiger butterfly to test roaming bugs.

*clarification For those wondering, after completing 15 vacation homes you will unlock the DIY recipes for a counter and pillar the *day after*. So, you will have to complete 15 homes, and then wait a day before going back to work where Niko will give you the recipes :)

@@mr.wasgehtsiedasan8594 I watched a video the other day about the 2.0.1 update and it said that there was a bug causing items in HHP to not be unlocked but it was patched in the update, it was by the channel ‘crossing channel’ if u want to look at it because I can’t really remember all the details 💜

Fun Fact: There's actually also a legendary designer rank, I don't know how you get that but it's after superstar designer and the pros of getting it is you'll earn 30,000 poki and the locker where you change your uniform will add in all the clothing items that you had cataloged!💗

Maybe this happen when you have created 100 vacation homes. Right now I have made +80 vacation homes and still being superstar designer and earn 20,000 poki by each vacation home.

@@greciardz360 the designer rank is fairly independent from the amount of homes you have decorated. It's a point system similar to the 5-star system, there are different requirements. Those being the number of homes designed and plots filled, the amount of roommate pairs, days spend on the hhp island, time spend decorating (20 min+ for one home) and floorings received from villagers and facilities designed. You do have to decorate quite a lot of houses to get to the legendary and goat designer, so you're not entirely wrong. But all facilities and a ton of houses won't get you to that rank unfortunately. It's really a waste of time, will get you a ton of poki but that's it.

But yes, you’re right, I’ve discovered a long time ago that all of the ranks were based on other things and details, just like the 5 star system. I had my suspicion about it since my boyfriend play ACNH and HHP too and had different ranks even though some similarities. So… thankyou so much for confirmed this even more. :)

Superstar designer is not the last promotion and raise you can get btw. I'm at "GOAT designer" (greatest of all time) which I think is 100 vacation homes. And I get paid 40,000 poki per house now. I'm not sure what updates come with it, I just barely figured out that I could resize rooms this whole time. 🤣🤣

Just to update about the buy now pay later option. I unlocked it even though I didn't spend over 100,000 poki so I don't think you need to spend that much to unlock it. I bought the dlc yesterday and have built 15 homes and decorated the school,restaurant and cafe. I just happened to talk to Wardell and he told me about it being unlocked.

after a while Nat can show up like lief did and when you take him to the school he will teach you about releasing bugs on vacation homes exteriors. it took about 2 or 3 weeks of just time traveling for him to show up.

There is a problem when talking to Leif the game force closes. I have done about eighteen homes, the school, and the restaurant. I tried to go to work first and talk to him and I even went on a break and talked to him both times the game glitched out and gave me an error message. So, you all be careful if you want to talk to him.

I am watching this for a second time for some info and was thinking that since your soo good at explaining details of game mechanics such as HHP, it would be great if you could explain some other elements that can be confusing for the community such as using codes in HHP. Like by replacing a code to use with HHP that it will replace the codes back at your island. I want to experiment with differing codes for HHP but the now 200 slots we're afforded just don't cut it {yes old complaint!). It would have been nice if we could have code slots just for HHP - even like 50 to experiment with. But I digress, a video on these odd details of the game would be fun to have your perspective and anything else, that although seems obvious, is little known! Love your content!

You forgot to mention that you can go back and edit all villager houses, but you don’t have to use all of their chosen items, and you can change the house names :)

about the amiibo scanner: after 7 vacation homes you can invite NPCs as clients?! i swear i used my only 2 amiibos (mable and tom nook) after 11 vacation homes and not at all did it allow me, it did regonize the amiibo but said "sorry, you can't invite that VIP client yet..." and yes, they don't work on my island, they work perfectly fine in harv's island

15:15 I think it's safe to say that I kind of debunked this because before I was able to get to my next client after Lodi told me I can now add an extra room I went to one of my already clients who already have a home if I can add a room for them and they said yes so yeah you don't have to make another home for another villager

When looking at other peoples homes and facilities, I always see furniture that I wish I had and I don't. I don't know how to unlock certain furniture for the DLC to use in my facilities. Is there a certain point where you have access to all furniture possible when designing your facilities? I was trying to Google which furniture each villagers comes with when designing their home, but I didn't find anything.

So the items you unlock for the catalog are from the villagers order tab after you design their home. Some of the items like the ones crafted from diys can’t be bought though. Hope I made sense.

Did 50 the first day. Some of the stuff is time locked and you will have to travel back and forth on the island on different days in order to progress, for example the diys from Niko will take a few days to get.

Was really helpful I am on last building This what I have unlocked School Cafe Restraunt Hospital Exchange poki Pay later 2 room mate house Custom low high bar tops Pillars All the sounds Tom nook came to my island What's left Appeal shop and nook miles I almost there Also if u get ur fortune read by Katrina at night and she gives u good fortune immediately go back to ur Island and take ride with Kapp'n and go to what I call treasure island . Take shovel and axe and fishing pole and net . Hit rocks and. Get different color star fragments like zodiac cancer fragment there lots of diff. Colors also make tons of wishs lots n lots of stars on the sky . Next day walk along ur Island beach collect stars. Also can catch fish bugs and other creature that u might have missed and need to collect for museum . Now it might take 1-10 times going with Kapp'n before this feature unlocks .
