can you test this same animation threshold with passing accuracy to see the difference in speed from 50, 55, 65, 70 with no passing style equipped? Driving to the rim and passing to corner from same and different side. Also pass from top of three to corner while on the move

Bro first of all thank you for your hard work, it means a lot to us average players. I would appreciate if you could do an Interior Defense against Block. I’m thinking on a C build and I just don’t know how the defense in the paint works this year. Is it hands up or Blocking more important? Much luv

I can tell you that interior defense is way more important to get good contest in the paint and get slashers out of their dunk animations. A viable combination would be 84 Block cause high flying denier is Tier 2 so you can badge perk It to gold without sacraficing a more important badge. And 85+ interior defense. Put at least 89 strenght on your build youll be fine. And If you really wanna shut down the paint make a 6.11 or 6.10 Center to get more Perimeter d for immovable enforcer. But on a 7.0 or 7.1 62 perimeter d also works fine.

I think passing also works similarly. I thought 70 passing would be good enough for my big man based on older 2K...but my guy does this annoying gather and delay animation before passing a lot of the time. I'm guessing 75 would've given me crisper pass animations. I'm stuck with this now, and it sucks

Can you please test to see if the +1 badge perk gets the benefit of the animation threshold required for the badge increase. For example, a 73 steal rating qualifies for silver interceptor. If I add plus one for gold, will that get me the benefit of the animation corresponding with 85 steal that would be required for gold interceptor?

Go 80 for silver rebound chaser or Go 70 cause rebound chaser badge Bronze is like plus 9 in stats so you will unlock the 79 Animation as well.

I have 85 on mine and what I could mostly guess is positioning? I have contact standing dunks but majority of the time I go for one when I know I’m open or the defender is in a bad spot. Also I make sure I have a few animations for awkward angles around the basket.

That ring inside the paint is the threshold I got a 90 on mine post he dunks most the time except when I’m inside that little ring it could also be your tendencies I wasn’t dunking at first I use all the standing dunk joints plus Jordan and Gianni’s as packages

@@Apettway you need a minimum of 40 standing dunk to unlock standing dunk packages regardless. like how you need a minimum of 70 driving dunk to get an alley oop package, you most likely can’t dunk off an alley oop without that 70. it’s not a “free animation” if it’s already stated as a requirement in game

@@saiyah- I do hope you didn’t take that the wrong way. I suppose what is being said is. Yes there is a base threshold of 40 for the lowest dunk package. This is probably because in the basic game system you cannot active a static standing dunk until 40 and they decided to place an animation package there in case you wanted something different from the regular animation unlocked on base 40. Example… somewhere around 85 pass accuracy you visibly see a jump in the speed of passes. Coincidentally there are animations there that you can now equip, but without them on you still are subject to new animations because of the threshold. This is the main concept being explained in the video which makes your statement confusing to everyone else, because just because new animations are available to buy, doesn’t make him dunking on base animations invalid. Hopefully we are on the same page. If not explain where I’m missing something.
