Michel Widmer You can only brake while drifting in deluxe. Regular Mario kart 8 wouldn't allow it.

The worse you are doing in the race, the better items you get. (First place gets green shells, bananas, coins, and the ocasional red shell, while last gets bbills and blue shells.)

My best tip for 200cc is using a very slow car What I use. Character= Any Baby Character. Kart= Mr.Scootie Wheels= Azure. Glider= Any.

Can someone answer this question? I find the Nintendo site a bit confusing on how they present some thing. I'm curious about the Booster Pass. What's confusing, is that on the site where you buy the yearly on-line play thing, there's an option for the Booster pass. But when I am in MK, I'm seeing a bunch of tracks, but when I click on those, it says that I need EITHER the Booster Pass OR the online play option that includes the booster pass. Would I be correct that if I buy the Booster Pass, I CAN play those tracks locally, but just not be able to play them on line? Or if I buy the pass, would I NOT be able to play those tracks at all, even locally, unless I pay their crazy price for that package for online. Sorry, confusing. Ideas?

If you buy the online pass it gives you a year of Nintendo online, the expansion pass for splatoon, Mario kart, animal crossing, and the classic Nintendo games. You can play Mario kart dlc offline if you buy the switch online bundle or if you buy the Mario dlc separately. If your playing online you can actually play dlc courses if it’s an option to pick and it gets voted for. I’m pretty sure if you buy the switch online pass if you don’t renew the 50 dollar pass yearly you will lose the expansion pass so I would just get the Mario dlc not the expansion pass

@@googanbaits4341 Just after my post, I did buy the MK8 Deluxe "Bundle" pack that opens up a lot of tracks. (I think 48 ??) It was expensive, but it APPEARS that this is a one-time purchase as it is not labeled as a recurring charge. I did also buy the on-line play thing, which was separate and is recurring for a small amount. I hesitated on buying the Switch OLDED for a very long time as I was happy with my MK8 on the Wii-U, but I have to say, the Deluxe on the Switch OLED is so much better. As it turns out, I do like the portability, which I originally thought was not for me. But, I was wrong. LOL Now, when we go for a family visit (my husband's family) I can DRIFT off into another world while everyone talks at the same time. LOL Latinos know what I'm talking about. eheheheheheh

I'm about halfway there to getting the gold mario. I have 6 cups left to go and I got the hard ones out of the way first, which for me is the last 4 cups(The bell, crossing, triforce, and egg). I don't understand how anyone is able to do this with smart steering. You have no control when that's set and I like to have complete control of my vehicle. What I've been doing is using the basic characters like Mario or Luigi or even silver mario and using bikes that have a higher acceleration than speed, just for the fact that if you get hit of fall off the road, you can accel faster if you have a higher acceleration. So far it's been working. I hope I get the golden Mario.
