For gutter knife, the challange is still bugged. I got it today. The way it works is that once you get 1 bloodthirsty with knife and die, the rest of the kills also count towards the challenge. I recommend people to get this before it's patched. imo this is harder than RGL.

You don't have to do both the gutter knife and karambit. You can choose one or the other. You only need 1 melee weapon.

It's still currently bugged. I got forged done in 2 games because of the bug, and I didn't get a single bloodthirsty in any of them. I have no idea how it's counting/tracking it, but do your knives NOW guys, karambit was easy AF, but those bloodthirsties are always annoying, so do them now.

You can have someone else drop you the knife (or any locked gun) through the zombies mode (glorified DMZ). That way you can bypass that horrible challenge armory system. But I'm sure they'll patch this so people use that new system, even tho they shouldn't because this was an intended feature of DMZ back in 2022
