@@TiKayStyleI started that one but I kind of got tired of it, the weapon system in that one is a bit more complex. I just picked up Hyrule warriors definitive edition and now I can't stop playing it. I love how it's just a huge wave of fanservice, even down to the alternate costumes which originally I thought we're lame pallet swaps but actually have bases in other Zelda games 🤯 I also love all these remix tracks that are just Zelda songs with some dynasty warrior flare, I'm so glad that I went back to definitive edition

Funnily, I found argarock to be easiest to fight against. Manhandla was always the hardest for me. I don’t know how many times I died in seconds from her seed gun or spin attack.

HOLY CRAP! That results screen! There were so many materials! I'm going to guess those were from Survival Battle level 4 weren't they? I understand people have given this mode a lot of crap for various reasons. But I'd argue the improved FPS of this version helps immensely. Ganon already moved kind of slow. But the Wii U version didn't do him any favors. I truthfully think while the missions are not by any means easier per-se, they are greatly more tolerable with the FPS being 60.

Well at least he keeps his levels even after losing, I don't think I'll mind grinding them, it's basically all I play the game for at this point now, it's a fun time waster, and the amount of materials at the end was crazy, so it seems good for that
@zacziggarot Жыл бұрын
I think in definitive edition you always keep your levels if you go back to the select scenario screen or restart. It's nice, even when I fail a mission I feel like I'm making forward progress

My copy of the game should arrive today, so i'm sucking up any knowledge i can find. Could you maybe make a guide where to find each character's weapons or the best spots to level certain characters? There seem to only be guides for young link on KZbin, so other ones would be appreciated
@PBTV_255 жыл бұрын
Same. I really need to find a good route and grind spot fot Tingle.
@kreive47194 жыл бұрын
The reason why you only see Young Link EXP grinding is because he's the best character to farm with. Getting an EXP+ skill on your weapon, using EXP Accelerator and staying as FD indefinitely gives you 3 exp boosts. Then choosing a K.O. rack up mission, you can get many many levels per mission since you'll usually get close to 4k KO's. Then you just buy the levels for everyone else.

The Giant Cucco was the first thing I unlocked in this version once Ganon mode as available at least. Wow it truly takes a patient person to complete Giant Cucco Mode, I might’ve A ranked 3 or 4 missions with it, I just wanted to have it unlocked. I kinda wish blue Rooster was in the game from Links Awakening. How COOL would it be if it was part of Marin’s move set?!?! Now that I think about it I’m not sure why they didn’t include this, or the 3 pets from the Oracle games. “Classic” Link should have been the final playable DLC character with 4 weapon sets. One set for his sword and various true classic items/weapons (they could’ve went crazy here) and one for the winged bear, one for the kangaroo and one for the dodongo (I always picked the dodongo, Dmitri)

I remember "A" ranking all the Giant Cucco's missions on the Wii u release.....Dunno if I plan to do the same again on the Definitive Edition unless I'm feeling ambitious!

I. NEED. HELP. I started playing Hyrule Warriors with every DLC and Update on the Wii U and I only can play the Giant Cucco. I selected Skull Kid but I was the Giant Cucco. I do not know why. Edit: I even have to play as the Giant Cucco in the "Legend Mode"(don't know if it is called like that in english, I mean the mode wich you first play when you started Hyrule Warriors for the first time).

you werent kidding when you said survival battles are long... the first one took me 18 minutes to complete. it wasnt hard, but i unfortunately messed up one of the waves since i didnt get an A rank. i had low enough damage to A rank but was some number of KOs short from unintentially killing a key enemy. i think the imprisoned might be worse than agnoroks in this mode since they cant be stunlocked, weak point guage doesnt seem to show at all and youre forced to kill everything else first and then spam lasers or he will keep mowing you down which goes through health dangerously fast. had to loop him around a cleaned out fortress to avoid getting hit and get lucky with hin standing up. hes easy in the main game, but definitely worse here imo hope to eventually unlock the giant cucco, im mainly just leeching ganons fury for rupees (even the early maps give good amounts easily, not sure if the first giant battle is ideal unless its because i killed the key bosses too soon. i started by building up specials though so i killed smaller enemies first. magic is tight here apparently). last note, i think this mode is a bit more overhated than it deserved to be tbh. i know what the complaints are, and they arent wrong stating the problems, but i think ganons fury (and probably cucco's as well) deserve more love so to speak than they ended up receiving. pretty fun so far but a grind is definitely forced here

i like to levelgrind in survivalbattle3 because of the shadowcharacters giving a lot of exp. i dont know if that was adjusted in definitive version tho
@Sleepy-Mal3 жыл бұрын
how to A rank this battle past wave 3 in a nutshell: camp lasers on the bridge and let the bosses line up XP only really good way to survive this mess imo after the early waves i like cucco though, love pecking gibdo's to oblivion (i hate these guys in the main game lol). Not going to 100% cucco's fury if all thr stages have the same enemies but i definitely will unlock up to giant battle 3 for material farming for sure
@chaoticchild5195 жыл бұрын
Which tier would you put giant cucco in?
@nsbathome5 жыл бұрын
Luke L Not as good as Ganon tier. Not much of a tier list for boss mode.
@HCN-002OldChannel4 жыл бұрын
The only thing that the cuccoo really excels at is killing The Imprisoned, because each peck fills the magic gauge and each of The Imprisoned’s toes count as a separate target, effectively hitting 7 targets at once, repeat over and over and also use the magic gauge obviously

Does this work on the 3ds version
@HCN-002OldChannel4 жыл бұрын
I know that Hyrule Warriors was a big game, but fitting at least 3 missions as Ganon and the Cuccoo would most certainly fit on a 3DS cartridge
@LuigiXHero4 жыл бұрын
@@HCN-002OldChannel Late but it's not due to file size obviously it's due to how weak a system it is and how much goes on during Challenge mode. Even the Wii U version struggled with it.
@HCN-002OldChannel4 жыл бұрын
LuigiXHero I’ve never actually played the 3DS version, so I just guessed
@Dark_Mishra2 жыл бұрын
@@HCN-002OldChannel I think the REAL reason this mode wasn’t added to the 3DS Legends version was because of the screen size. Ganon and the Cucco are so massive, they’d either take up the whole screen so you couldn’t see anything, or the camera would have to be pulled so far away that you could see their whole body, but then you wouldn’t be able to see the tiny enemies. Even on the Wii U and Switch editions, this same issue happens when playing as Link’s Great Fairy. She’s so tall you can’t see many enemies that are right below her, which makes the one-hit kill challenges nearly impossible using her.
@HCN-002OldChannel2 жыл бұрын
@@Dark_Mishra yeah, I guess that makes sense. As stated before, I’ve never played the 3DS version, but looking back on it, the screen crunch probably was the reason it wasn’t included. I wasn’t exactly very good at analysis a year ago, huh?
