This way you could see if it's compatible without possibly hurting your live site. I can't be 100% sure though with out seeing how the issue was caused exactly. I'd try disabling all of your plugins and running the PHP plugin again to see if that resolves the issue. Whether that be build a table or discover a fine wine. If your content is meeting the needs of your audience, then the traffic will follow. There are obviously tactics and strategies you can put in place to increase traffic, however, when you're just starting out, it's key to focus on your content/audience before worrying about traffic. However, I will say that WordPress can use PHP 8, and it is recommended to use PHP 8.1 with WordPress 5.9 or 6.0 for compatibility and better performance. :)

The php checker plug in does not seem to work anymore. I ran it for hours without result It seems to crash on some code at the beginning and then just show a working indicator for hours. Others have been one staring it with similar comments.

Additionally, if you sign up with Bluehost web hosting, you get a free SSL certificate so you won't have to worry about that.
