Is there any reason that heat spreader would cause issues? Does it even matter it doesn't cover the whole thing? I know that thermal throttling is something that applies to these drives. Do they make heat spreaders that cover the whole thing you can install in this laptop? I have the same one and would like to upgrade my m.2 also. I already added a 2.5 inch ssd.
