Two safety measures are missing after you open the back cover: 1. Disconnect the battery plug before touching any internal components. 2. Press and hold the power button to drain any charge stored in the computer. Then you can proceed with SSD installation.

I have just followed the great tutorial. Only the screws underneath the keyboard were different ones. Did not disconnect the battery, shame on me. However, successfully installed a 1TB SSD ( Crucial MX500 1TB CT1000MX500SSD1(Z) ) und 16GB Ram ( 2 times Crucial RAM CT102464BF160B 8GB DDR3 1600 MHz ) Thanks
