Awesome guitar! I have the Henrik Danhage signature also, except I replaced the frets with stainless steel and added a D-tuna.

Nice video and very usefull ! I guess the Trem Block system is for a correct use of the D-Tuna in Dive Only position. But when you want to go back in Floating mode, do you have to uninstall the D Tuna system ?

Thank you ☺️, No, you don't have to uninstall it, but you can no longer switch to drop tuning in floating position.

@@JuergenHarreiter Ok then that makes sense. You have done a really good job on this one. By the way the Trem Block by Guitar Guard is no longer avalaible in Thomann. I see that ENGL has developped their own gear ever heard about these ? I will need to check dimensions as I will upgrade a Charvel HD too

just for saving some money, I use oil for guns on the moving parts, much cheaper than the nutsauce and works just as well if not better because its more fluid

@JuergenHarreiter hi, I have a question. If one wants to downtune , you just have to switch the latch to block the trem and then downtune but can you downtune and then release the latch to full floating? Or will that throw off the bridge level position? Thanks

With the hardtailer block system, are you able to change tunings without resetting the tremolo? like going from standard to whole step down?

That's possible, but you may have to retune the Floyd Rose's fine tuner and the hardtailer must be perfectly adjusted.

See, I like this video in that I plan on doing the exact same modifications on a guitar I have (with a Floyd). I was hoping to see a sound sample, but is it pretty sturdy when using the D-tuner?

The most important thing is to set the Floyd Rose precisely in combination with the hardtailer and the D-Tuna, otherwise it's a bit annoying. What I can also say is that the D-Tuna is a bit fiddly to use, but otherwise it is stable.

Did the ground wire get trapped between the sure claw and the bridge?

Yes, and the ground wire is simply clamped under the sure claw.

Here is the description of the Schaller homepage: To ground, strip the insulation from a ground cable coming from the bridge, fan out the strand and position it between the base plate of the Sure Claw and the body wood. Now screw the Sure Claw onto the bottom of the spring chamber; tightening it will connect the ground cable. This creates a secure and permanent ground connection.
