Mark, you really know how to spice up acoustic guitar playing! I haven't found any other channel where so much focus is put on the right-hand technique. And this is really one of the main keys of awesomizing the sound from my perspective. You can find tons of videos talking about scales and licks and all that stuff, but nothing have put so much flavor in my guitar playing like following your tips about palm muting, tic toc-ing and things around the right-hand technique. Thanks so much and keep on rocking!

Good teacher! I like the way you just simply show us what you're doing without trying to explain a bunch of irrelevant stuff beforehand. I don't know how many videos that I've had to sit through where they want to explain life, the universe, and everything instead of just showing us how to play the damn riff (or in this case the strum). I'll be checking out some of your other videos.

Mark: Reading comments below, lot's of gratitude for your excellent focus on right hand technique... add my personal appreciation. I have been told "the strum hand makes the music"... that is where the feeling and soul happen. Thanks!

Hey Mark…Like the hair bro…” awesomized”.. my strum some years back, after my neighbor complained about my foot tapping LOL !! ..I started by setting the metronome as an alternative ..but I kept losing the beat , then ..I started tapping the strings on each measure .? This proved to work but proved more noisy then the foot tapping . Then I remembered a video “Moses” posted some years back about this subject and even though it was not the same as your method ..it led to the same idea of a few strings strummed was better for accuracy…I have to say the Guitar Guy takes the stage again.
