How to upgrade your machine to a 412 in1 from a 60 in 1 multicade icade board Arcade Funcade

I just want to post a quick review of my experience with Arcade Funcade- I recently paid a local Nh guy to build me a table arcade with the 412 board, but he said they kept sending the wrong board and ended up with the 60 instead- he said it would take 10-14 weeks for the 412 board to arrive (this is after taking 3 months to build the table!) I found this video while researching options- and saw Arcade Funcade's cell number in one of the other comments below and decided to give them a call- surprisingly, they answered! We spent a good 30 mins on the phone discussing upgrade options and prices. This guy knows his stuff! After talking a while and getting a good vibe from him, I decided to purchase the 412 board from him. I sent him money via PayPal and in less than a week (not 14 weeks like my local guy!) my board arrived! Dan had the board totally configured for my table- it was literally unplug the 60 and plug in the 412- it took 30 seconds. Also- deserves mentioning, Dan is super attentive and responds to texts almost immediately. Everything is perfect! I highly recommend Dan & Arcade Funcade if you're in the market. So that you never plug the Jamma harness in the wrong way in future you may want to put a dab of solder across pin 7 which is not in use it will act as a type of key which means you never plug the jamma harness in the wrong way. You will notice that on the 412 in 1 and 60 in 1 unit the jamma edge connector already has a notch cut into it for this purpose.

Nice. How do you properly turn off these Elf or Pandora boards? Just flip off the power switch and it won’t corrupt the SD card? Thanks

@@TheBonilla7 I have a 60 in 1 in a scramble unit and there are a couple of games I cannot play due to lack of third button (Gunsmoke).. I assume some of the 412 games are teh same way? I'm thinking of converting my ms pacman into a 412.. I found a site that SELLS a ms. pacman 3 button panel. When time, I'll contact you guys to buy.

@@richardivey6945 you can go into setting in your 60 in 1 and set gunsmoke to play with a snigle button. Also if you have 2 buttons. I recommend just installing a third small button over the top middle portion of the 2 buttons. Save a few bucks and use what you have. Give me a call and i can walk you though it. Buttons are about 4.50 so its pretty easy addon [phone]

@@TheBonilla7 I just picked up my buddy's 60 in 1 cocktail that has two buttons on each side. So you can add additional buttons to it? I am thinking about upgrading the PCB as well. I see some that have Gauntlet on the list, but not sure how that would be able to play on my "Icade 60 in 1"

Hello, so the 412 has a sd card that has a locked system. If your lucky enough to get one to work let us know. Would love to do this. Otherwise you can buy a 1150 in 1 elf board and it has verticle and horizontal games. Check out the gamelist.

I upgraded for a 60 in1 to the 412. When I go into the settings there are no options so there is nothing to change. For example only option 1 has an option. The rest that are in blue lettering I don't have. Is there something I need to correct in the wiring? Thank you.

Hello there , go into settings option by pressing the test button on side of board at start up. Go to settings / edit and configure games. You can go in the menu and chamge difficulties and lives. Hope this helps.

i got the 412-in-1 to upgrade a vertical upright. The instructions as well as some sites warn to make sure pin 27 is not grounded. they say it will mess up some game play. another site reminds us that there are some adult games in the mix. since my box will be used by young kids, i have to make sure to remove those from the menu.

yep lol! I found those! there's about 4 or 5 adult games- but only 2 have total nudity, from what I'm told......... ;)

Okay cool this is sweet but are all the sound effects in the games there for example in Donkey Kong jr. Does it make the sound effects when he jumps?

Nathan Lopez , hey there yes the sounds are all as theybare supposed to be . There are some boards out there that have knock off roms and games play very slow or bad sound . Ours plays amazingly . Let me know if you are interested in a table or a board.

I'd love to hear the Donkey Kong walking sounds, because on the 60 in 1 board they are NOT like on the original arcade (it's difficult to emulate, because the original board actual had analogue circuitry on the board, in addition to digital sound).
