I think storing a absolute path of the image in database is not the good option. what if the image get moved to a new location, the above option will be failed. i think it should be stored in byte array or something else. what's your take on it?? please correct me if i am wrong

Brother point is correct but can't store image in database because it will increase the size of db and make db slow. It's better to store the root path of the project.
