In this video, we'll learn how to upload your project on GitHub!
If you are new to working with Git and GitHub, figuring out how to upload your project to GitHub can be a little confusing. This is because once you start working with Git repositories, the source of truth for your files changes pretty dramatically. In order for Git and GitHub to know about the latest changes to your files, they need to be saved in a "commit", which is a snapshot of your code at a specific point in time. Once you have committed your code, we can push (upload) these commits to a "remote" environment, which in this case is going to be GitHub.
In this video, we'll walk you through the complete process of uploading your project to GitHub including initializing your local repository, making our first commit, creating our remote repository on GitHub, and using the GitHub provided code snippets to link our local repository to our remote so that we can finally upload our project.
