Look at the Nasdaq today it did the same thing on the hourly chart. Pulled 150 points away from the 20 and pull all the way back by the end of the day. It does it almost everyday.

To capture this up and down movement and to take entry and exit , add Bollinger band (change std deviation value of bollinger band from default 2.0 to 1.5 ) and 5 ema indicators. When the candle is not touching to 5 ema and out of bollinger band lower line, and next candle crosses its high take buy enrey SL low of candle target 3 x SL. Do opposite for sell entry on upper Bollinger band line.
