It is possible It is possible to modify the Z coordinate of the model, or add animations to the model and also modify the X rotation, I would like to make a demo of resident evil 2

Since this is a very simple method of importing these models, it's likely impossible to do what you said. I haven't tried it yet, maybe you can get it to work

small question: is youtube showing ads on this video? EDIT: thank you for the replies, this shows that youtube monetizes my videos without my consent. they take 100% of the revenue, I'm not seeing a single cent of it.

download link for PNG slices?

I need help. When I loaded my OBJ into the voxelizer, it didn't have any textures. And when I spliced that object, there were like 30 different pngs instead of just one texture.
@ccrsnt634Ай бұрын
And for some unknown reasons, the obj file has .mtl file with it
@meehdrescherАй бұрын
1. When you load the OBJ into the voxelizer, you should get an option to choose your texture. Note that this only works with objs that only have a single material (as stated in the video). Then select your texture in a suitable format. 2. Splicing the object is the whole point of this workflow, if you get 30 different pngs instead of just one texture, that is even better because I am pretty sure that you can already use those in Scratch. 3. The mtl file is completely irrelevant for this workflow, it stores the materials that are used by the obj mesh, however the voxelizer already takes care of that.

SCRATCH HAS 3D MODELS NOW?! WHAT!
@meehdrescher Жыл бұрын
With this method, yes... they are not 100% accurate and they can only be used in specific scenarios but I'm working on a different approach that works without any file conversions

you can make 3d renderer with scratch, but it is little bit hard
@meehdrescher Жыл бұрын
It is possible to write a 3D renderer in Scratch, but it's hard and it will lag a lot. I've managed to make a somewhat functional renderer with workiing UVs, only the face sorting is missing.
@meehdrescher Жыл бұрын
i implemented it already but it's laggy
@tomatoviking353811 ай бұрын
@@meehdrescher thats actually pretty impressive to have functioning UVs. if you have UV stuff its not too hard to add a zbuffer system which is very little extra performance cost (esp compared to face sorting) and you get perfect intersections and layering, so i recommend you look into that i you decide to pursue that project further
