Thanks for the video. You don't mention using soap. In a normal floor model bidet I think people might often use soap to be totally clean, for example prior to bedroom activities. How practical is it to use soap with these bidet seats? Do people often use soap when using them. That way is it possible to be as clean as after bathing or showering. Thank you.

There was one bidet made years and years ago that offered a soap dispenser called the Bio Bidet Premium BB-i3000 Bidet Seat, but while it was out, a study was done that showed that washing with soap back there too often depleted the body of good bacteria that's needed back there. After this was discovered the i3000 was discontinued and no one else has ever made a model that adds soap to the water since.

A couple of basic questions that are left unanswered. One, how do you tell when your butt is clean? Second, how do you dry off? In addition, what does this do to your water usage?
@ManyBidets Жыл бұрын
Trying a bidet for the first time is a learning experience. It may take someone a couple days or a couple of weeks. At the beginning its common to still use toilet paper as you're figuring out how to sit on the bidet, water pressure, and nozzle placement. After awhile you will feel confident that you wont need to check yourself with toilet paper. Most electric bidets have a warm air dryer, there are some that are more powerful than others but its very common to still use at least one sheet of toilet paper to dab dry yourself.

Some societies use their left hand to clean their rear, then clean the hand separately. With a bidet, the spraying water could wash the sticky poop and the hand at the same time if a person is flexible enough. Flush before washing. A bidet with a dryer would be nice to dry the rear. A clean towel might be a needed item for the hand afterward.

Water, hand, and ph appropriate gel wash, with energetic hand washing (under the nails also!) and sanitation at the end give the only throughout and hygeinic results (after defecation, aka "pooping" in baby talk). Rinsing doesn't do it, and the nozzle opening contamination, with the water passing out of it, and and carrying the contamination on, is an issue I don't see addressed, just "you might want to clean it...)

First, I would like to ask is for a female... Can I use the rear wash option to wash up after number two? Or will that splash poop forward into the front lady part (vagina)? Sorry. I want to make my bathroom experience easier on myself because I have IBS but I'm nervous about this new alpha bidet ux pearl toilet seat that I had purchased and received today. I'm having anxiety about it because I've had UTI before for three years and it was a nightmare and I don't want to have it again. So I need a professional tell me how to use it correctly... Step by step. And second, I assume I need to flush the toilet after pooping and before using the bidet, correct? And will the water clean my butt cheeks also?
@elza183010 ай бұрын
The posterior-anterior direction of the jet of water is utterly inconvenient for women and contaminated water reaching the vaginal and urethra opening is unavoidable by "practice"/ "contortions". Short of proper showering,a hand held shower head while sitting on the edge of a bathtub,allowing control of direction of flow,with ph appropriate intimate gel use after defecation, and throughout hand washing and sanitation at the end, is optimal.

I would not like the fact that you could have the previous user's "remnants" splash on you! How could it be clean without it being disinfected after each use?
@ManyBidets9 ай бұрын
Great question! Most bidets run a pre-rinse of the nozzle before use followed by a post-rinse as well. Some bidets even do this with sterilized water and/or UV sterilization of the whole nozzle. This helps to keep the nozzle clean for use but we still recommend routine cleaning of your bidet.

How come no body say anything about using soap or a towel? If you spray your bottom with water and stand afterwards don't your cloths get wet?

Great question! A bidet helps clean the area after a bowel movement as an alternative to toilet paper but using soap is usually reserved for use in the shower instead of a bidet. Most electric bidets have air dryers which folks utilize to help with the drying, alternatively dabbing dry with some toilet paper or reusable towels is another option folks utilize.
