It will really depend on the placement of the pin back on the brooch. If it is centered, there will be more flopping forward, if it is higher up, it should be okay. I think it also really depends on the particular brooch and it's weight, each one will act a little differently.

We don't have any info from our supplier as to whether it is nickel-free or not. Usually they tell us if it is and since nickel is such a popular bonding agent during plating, we never assume that it is nickel-free unless we are directly told by the supplier.

So cool! Do you think the brooch that has a longer needle/tip would poke you?
@beadaholique4 жыл бұрын
Generally when I've worn these sorts of broachs I've seen that the tips rest pretty safely in their little locks. If it sticks out too much for comfort often you can fix that by bending it just a little, bowing the pin slightly to shorten its length.

These are great. I have a brooch with a longer pin so the converter would slide back and forth since it is too short. Are there longer ones?

Regrettably, we do not have them available in larger sizes. Thanks for your interest!

How would you do this if there was a metal clutch?
@beadaholique Жыл бұрын
I think I would have to see what the piece looks like in person or a photo to help out with the process. If you could provide more details of what it looks like and exactly what you want to do with it, I can try my best to help. Thanks!

@beadaholique like one of those typical enamel pins that have the metal backing. That you could stick through a name tag, back pack, shirt.

I like these, but the pendants tend to flop forward. Is there any remedy for this?

Guess you can't use just any brooch? How do you keep it from flopping forward?

I would LOVE if you made this in sterling silver.

How would you do the reverse, by chance? Turn a necklace pendent into a brooch?? I haven't found any youtube videos on this, so if anyone could help me out, it'd be greatly appreciated.

The first thing I'd try would be a glue-on pin back like one of these: beadaholique.com/search?type=article%2Cpage%2Cproduct&q=%22pin%20back%22&_=pf&pf_t_product_type=0-Product-Type%3AAll%20Beading%20Components
