You should have mentioned that you need to make sure both locks fired before lowering onto the locks, especially since you have it setup where one slightly follows the other. Some people think it's better that you can hear locks fire separately rather than at the same time. The second lock fired well after releasing the lift button which was sketchy for you, you almost demonstrated how not to lift a vehicle.

We usually just put the back arms under the "Jack points" of the car rather than all the way in as that is usually where the petrol tank is. Its only the front arms that we extend further.

Not necessarily centered. Some lifts were installed weird so you have to drive in at a certain angle so all the arms would catch the lift points or the chassis

It be nice to see at a better camera angle on the actual lift points when talking and showing where to place arms on.

ya this kid looks and sounds like hes taking an order from drive through of taco bell lol aye but no offense im just pokin fun, this wa 5 years ago, hopefuly youve wisen up by now i sure you have lol but anyways, ya you heard the last safety hit after you walked away ,not good ,rookie mistake. you never mentioned to be sure to listen to the lift to be sure youve passed the locks in order, cus if you didnt , and tried to lay it down on the lock, could be catastrophic for you.all that weight would shift to one side and possibly slip off the lift arms , and cause the vehicle to slip and smash onto the liftpost if you thought it was good where it was at and tried to lay it down on the lock, as one arm is locked, and the other isnt.also, also you can actually hold the lever to the safety locks until the last few clicks were your comfortable with the height, as the locks banging on the liftpost is loud and annoying, that is why there is a 3rd control ,the safety locks.hold it down to stop the banging.and LAST, NEVER LET THE VEHICLE DOWN THE WAY YOU JUST DID, THAT IS WAY TOO MUCH WEIGHT ON THAT LIFT TO DROP THE RELEASE LEVER SO CARELESSLY, IT SHOULD NEVER SHAKE LIKE THAT, THAT IS DANGEROUS! YOU EASE THE LEVER DOWN , ITS AS EASY AS THAT, HAD THAT CAR BEEN RUSTY, OR NOT SET PROPERLY, COMING DOWN THAT HARD WAS SURE TO MAKE IT SLIP OFF A LIFT, EVEN IF IT WAS PROPERLY SET, BOTTOM LINE,,,,,,,YOU SHOULD ALWAYS EASE THE RELEASE, AFTER YOU ARE SURE YOU HEARD BOTH AND FINAL LOCKS HIT,,,
