I am getting ready to take an RV Tech repair class and we are required to be familiar with the Clamp meter. I have watched so many videos on the clamp meter and I was so confused you did an excellent job explaining things and showing how it works. I feel like I have a better understanding of the meters and how they work and what their purposes are for. Thank you for such a detailed tutorial.

Is there an internal fuse for the leads?

Hi , awesome information. Also I subcribed as well . I am going to buy that Ideal Clamp meter but I saw the step up 61-757 in Lowe's , beside the LoZ and the 600 amp/1000volt, do you know if any other different? Is not that much money to get the 61-757. What do you think?

As far as I know that is the only difference that is rated for more energy it is a more robust meter basically little tougher more of their commercial grade product
