Thank you, i didn't know it was this easy. I was trying to roll mine up but it got too fat around lol. Just stuffing it into the compression bag from the foot end is much easier!

Have a forte 20 long, and it absolutely needs a larger stuff sack.

Hi Lucy, we recommend long term storage in the larger bag. Compressing a technical sleeping bag for long periods of time can damage the insulation.

Really useful video, but if you ever consider re-filming it, you should definitely mention proper storage. Chances are the same people who need to know how to use the sack also need to know how to store it.

I just purchased a Forte 20 Long & w/ the help of your video did manage to wrestle my bag into the included compression sack. It wasn't easy & I do believe that the negative comments I read online about the sack being too small are justified. It seems like it's gotta be tough on the zipper to be manhandled like that & it's tougher task than I would prefer to tackle every time I change camps. Do U have a larger sack that comes with some of your sleeping bags that I can purchase? I'd be willing to have a 10-20% larger package.

Gotta say I 100% agree with this comment; I've just recently gotten myself a long Forte 20 and getting it into that bag is a real task! It's like the bag was designed for the 35 regular and not the 20 long. Bit of an oversight to not give a larger sack for the larger bags! Its so tight I wonder how long until it rips, no way it can keep it up for very long... Otherwise the bag itself is lovely, the wrestling in the morning not so much!!

Same here, got it in with a lot of effort. The main problem i have is that the finished stuff sack ends up too long to place sideways in the bottom of my Osprey 55L Atmos

I have the same issue with my Forte 20 Long! Recently purchased for a trip out west and it would not compress well to fit into my backpack. Could barely get it into the stuff sack itself. I discovered a rip after the 5th time of using it and will be returning it to REI. I came to this video to confirm I was stuffing it correctly. After seeing these comments I think I need to consider a new bag altogether instead of exchanging.

Add me to the list of people with a Forte 20 long struggling with the stuff sack. My first Nemo bag was an entry level Tempo that fit easily in the bag it came with. I upgraded to the Forte, and it is extremely hard to get it into the sack. I just bought one for my son to use at Scouts, and I know I’ll have to get him an alternative bag because he just doesn’t have the muscle to cram it into the supplied bag. I absolutely love my Forte, but the bag is just too small.

It is if you buy a waterproof one, such as "sea to summit" which I have.
