No, only way to do it is to hold r in game or find a res that doesn't overlay attachments. I found 1280x1080 to be the best.

Lower end computers can get higher fps with lower resolutions.

@@Fortune1178 Yes, but you don't need to set it to distorted aspect ratios. What's the point of stretched resolution, other than making it look bad ! You can run DayZ at 1080p on a potato and get usable framerates. At worst 720p . But for god's sake keep it at 16:9

@@brin57 I mean for me its more of a preference thing, when i was growing up i had 4:3 monitors so i just got use to the stretched and boxy feel/look. I also play on a potato rn so it gives me 80fps using stretched rather than 40-60 on 16:9.

@@Fortune1178 You don't make sense. 16:9 is just the aspect ratio, which is most likely what your monitor is. Aspect ratio give you the correct proportions. It doesn't control fps. Just use a lower 16:9 resolution instead of stretched. Stretched will also give you a smaller fov, which you don't want. What is your PC spec if you're only getting 40-60 fps . Must be old !!

using 4:3 makes targets bigger making them easier to hit, you sacrifice fov but for most players that isnt a issue. it also increases fps.
