Do u have to change tyre when all three sections are below 1.6 or after just one section is below 1.6?

If one section is very badly worn i would recommend changing the tyre, also you should look into why it is uneven wearing, on my golf the inside would wear out very quickly whereas rest of tyre was fine, my wheel tracking needed doing to solve this issue. Also make sure you running at right tyre pressure. Cos my inside of the tyre was wearing away i had a blowout at 70mph, and even on road side i couldnt see a hole anywhere, its not until it was lifted in air and wheel taken off where i seen a massive hole on inside of tyre due to too much tyre wear on the inside. So i recommened getting that sorted asap the tracking might be off its cheap to do wheel tracking around 30 pounds maybe less maybe more depends who u go to

The bottom section is for the battery but what is the top cover used for?

@@MrWaheedulHaque if your going to do a video on the item you are using, then may I suggest you research the item on its use and functions. There are 2 covers on the Tyre gauge, the bottom one is the housing for the battery but the one at the top I'm not sure of its use, hence my question. Your video is not instructive enough on said item. A small child can demonstrate what you have done. Kind regards

I think you're supposed to reset on a flat surface first, not push the pin in all the way. Then the reading should be correct, I reckon yours would've been around 7mm if the tyres were new...
