These are some really good tips! One additional tip: You can burn the wraith with a flashlight when he‘s cloaked (doesn‘t matter where you aim). This however doesn‘t blind him

If you're injured while flashlighting a killer breaking a pallet, use Iron Will so they won't hear your pained grunts to track you down instead of their LOS.

Tip: Don’t use the flash to blind the killer when they’re breaking the pallet if you’re just going to move in a straight line away. You would make so much more distance by just running away. And If it’s a decent killer with a headset and you don’t have iron and are injured don’t blind after breaking pallets cause they’ll just hear wherever you’re going

So I never understood. But wtf is the point of flashlighting during a pallet break animation? All use I see here is bloodpoints. Like I get flashlighting to save a downed teammate. But after a pallet stun... Absolutely no reason.

If you back up while you do it you just add to his stun in a way, because he can’t see so he won’t know where you’re next steps are which will give you a bigger lead in the chase! If it’s also against a killer that relies heavily on LOS if you blind then quickly hide with no scratch marks you could easily escape the chase :)

@@sh6rpshot if you're injured, it's completely useless, tho. Any decent killer will still be able to pin-point track you purely on audio. And even if you're healthy, unless the killer is nurse or maybe blight, it barely adds anything, other than a slightly bigger headstart. I feel like, unless you can afford it, it's better to keep the battery for saves.

Good point! It also tests the killers patience, if you do it more then once in a chase, it’ll either make him throw the game and tunnel you or give up on you quicker

Just saying you waste a looooot of juice. Once you get the sound notification that there blinded just stop right away. Dont let the cone reset, let go the second it blinds. Youll get a lot more value.

You have to be facing directly in front of them (there body is facing you not at an angle) and then you shine in the general vicinity of their head, so for pyramid head just shine the center of his triangle :)

You’ll know when you do the flashlight correctly , but I would say try first doing it on a paler stun as that’s probably the easiest, and once you find a spot on his head that works stick with it :)

I play on PC but I use an Xbox controller (I started playing dbd on Xbox), movement is a little tougher on controllers than with keyboard and mouse, but you just have to keep practicing and you’ll get the hang of it! If you wanna learn how to do 360s really easily on controller, there’s this one guy on YT that does a ton of tutorials about 360s and they’re really easy to follow :)
