This is by far the best video I’ve found for using hair sticks. I’d been trying and trying and was so frustrated. Now I’m successfully using hair sticks!! Thank you so much!

I always thought my hair was too fine for hair sticks, but I watched your tutorial and in about 40 minutes I was able to do basic buns! I'm still practicing the French roll, thank you this is a very helpful tutorial!

I appreciate that your video actually walks the viewer through the process, most other videos don't and I was always frustrated that I couldn't do it. I watched your video and it actually made sense and I was able to do the french twist on the first try. Thank you!

Thank you! Finally a tutorial for a hair stick with actual clear, concise information. I’ve just watched 4 instructional videos before finding this on the same topic and not one of them gave instructions, useless waste of time.

+Sara Alcaraz Yeah, the thick coils don't like to wrap as easily as they seem to be doing here. Using two sticks may help with stabilizing the bun. I managed to get something stable with two double point knitting needles I had laying around.
@mijadane8 жыл бұрын
+Sara Alcaraz I usually dampen my hair a bit, then use product (i.e. mousse, gel, wax, or hairspray) to give my hair texture and hold before twisting it into a bun

Hi I want to thank you for the information on how to use the hair sticks just starting to use them by the way do you sale them?
@Merrida1008 жыл бұрын
You make this look so easy! I have such fine and thinning hair (you can see my scalp through it), that if I pull the hair back tight, I look bald. So I rely on using a clasp to sort of "fluff" the hair up. Seems lots of hair tutorials work best if you have lots of hair to work with. I think the sticks you make are very pretty. Wish that you sold them online.

This video was really helpful! =D I've had a couple of hair chopsticks around for longer than I can remember, but I never really learned how to do any long-lasting hairstyle with them. My hair is incredibly thin and slippery (and layered, most of the time) and I never got a hold of it; I can hardly make a ponytail! (Yeah, that's how bad it is and how bad I am at manipulating it. XD) With this video, although the hairstyles were all very simple and basic, it was thoroughly explained and made me realize most of the mistakes I was making in my many attempts to achieve this look. Also, as I was training a few hairstyles, I heard a few snap sounds on my hair, so I got really afraid of breaking the strings. With all of these tips in mind, I'll keep practicing and see if I can get a really secure and good looking hairstyle that I'm not ashamed to wear outside of the house! ^.^ Thanks a ton!

+Swanro Hopes I know how you feel.The way I do it is I braid my hair first and then I loop it in to a bun.And if you loosen the braid when you loop it it starts looking like a rose. :)
